Microsoft Excel
Requirements
Before integrating the MindKey Connector API with Microsoft Excel, ensure you meet the following requirements:
- Microsoft Entra ID User Account: You must have configured a Microsoft Entra ID user account to authenticate and authorize API requests.
- Supported Excel Version: Your version of Excel must support Power Query. For a list of supported Excel versions, visit Power Query data sources in Excel versions.
Steps for Integration
Step 1: Open Excel and Access Power Query
- Open Microsoft Excel.
- Navigate to the Data tab.
- In the "Get & Transform Data" group, click on "Get Data".
- Hover over "From Other Sources", and select "From OData Feed"
Step 2: Enter the OData Service URL
- In the dialog that appears, enter the URL for the MindKey Connector API OData service https://connector.mindkey.com/odata/v2
- Click OK to proceed.
Step 3: Authenticate Using Microsoft Entra ID
- If prompted for authentication select "Organizational Account"
- Click on "Sign in" and authenticate using your Microsoft Entra ID credentials.
- After signing in, click on "Connect"
Step 4: Load and Use Your Data
- Once Excel successfully connects to the MindKey Connector, select the tables or fields you need.
- Load the data into Excel for further analysis or reporting.
